New Features include Enhanced Security, Advanced Invoice Processing and Microsoft SharePoint 365 Integration
Laguna Hills, CA., August 10, 2016 – Ephesoft Inc., announced today the immediate availability of Ephesoft Transact Version 4.0.6, for advanced document capture and classification. Version 4.0.6 offers over two dozen new features and enhancements, including several improvements for faster document processing and an improved user experience.
New features include:
- Line item matching for accelerated Purchase Order and Invoice validations;
- Progressive barcode management for faster document classification & extended data extraction options;
- Direct export to SharePoint 365 for online and offline content management integration; and,
- Advanced Web Scanner service for configure and manage remote devices
“The latest version of Ephesoft Transact improves the functional areas that are identified as the most important to our growing customer base,” explained Ike Kavas, Ephesoft’s Chief Technical Officer. “For example, a key technical advantage of Ephesoft Transact is our Web Service APIs. In this release we have added several new services for integrating barcode engines and deploying Fuzzy Database lookups. The goal is always to produce greater accuracy while improving user efficiency.”
This year, Ephesoft has more than doubled the number of high-volume systems deployed by Federal Government Agencies and multi-national corporations. This has led to the development of new security features such as Data Encryption for the Linux platform and support for The Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) compliant algorithms for data encryption and decryption.
